Friday, October 03, 2025, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EDT
Category: AUCCCD Events
Webinar for Higher Education AdministratorsAs Higher Education navigates the current tumultuous impacts of national and global issues on colleges and universities, attending to the challenges of the past decade regarding the success and wellbeing of students remains a highly salient and important priority. Following the release by AUCCCD of the position paper ESSENTIAL: The Roles and Impacts of the University and College Counseling Center, this webinar will review key points from that paper, examples of how the ideas presented can be implemented, and acknowledge necessary considerations needed in defining the roles of the college counseling center in Higher Education. A foundational assumption from this position paper is the need for an integrated and coordinated ecology of support for students. To that end, this webinar will feature insights from seasoned college or university counseling center Directors, including an Assistant Vice President for Health and Wellbeing, offering Higher Education professionals some considerations to inform dialogue about the current and potential roles of campus counseling centers that are essential in advancing the ideals and aspirations of Higher Education.
