Presenters:

Cindy Bruns, PhD (Central Washington University)

Cindy Bruns, PhD is the Director of Counseling at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington.  Prior to becoming the director in 2017, she was the training director for the center's APA-accredited doctoral internship in health service psychology.  She has experience working in counseling centers with enrollments ranging between 1,000 and 10,000 and is an accreditation site visitor for the American Psychological Association.  Cindy also serves at the Survey Coordinator, non-voting member of the AUCCCD Board of Directors, and liaison to the Center for Collegiate Mental Health Advisory Board. 

Mark Sampson, PhD (Association for Counseling Center Training Agencies - President)

Dr. Sampson is currently the President of the Association for Counseling Center Training Agencies, transitioning to Past-President in November. He received his Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology from The Ohio State University. He has been in the role of Director of Training at OSU Counseling and Consultation Service since 2018. Prior to returning to OSU, he was the Clinical Director at Grand Valley State University and Director for Training at the University of Michigan. He also has a private practice in Columbus, Ohio.
