Eligibility for Attendance and Participation
- The Host Committee is responsible for permitting only eligible Directors to register for the annual AUCCCD conference. The AUCCCD Governing Board has a membership committee to provide consultation and advice regarding eligibility should there be any question needing resolution in specific instances. Inquiries should be directed to the Membership Committee Chair.
- An Acting Director officially designated by the University may attend the conference
- If Co-Directors exist at a member Counseling Center , only one may attend the conference to represent that school.
- Family members or partners of AUCCCD members may register as Guests and attend partner-spouse activities, meals, and the Keynote address only. They should be provided with an identification badge distinct from members' registration badges (e.g., a different background color). Guest registrants are not eligible for CE credits, even if they are mental health professionals.
- Vendors (unless members of AUCCCD) may not attend regular conference sessions or obtain CE credits and should have distinct badges. However, liaisons, such as ACCTA representative, and our diversity mentees may attend the meetings and obtain CE credits. Liaisons and diversity mentees should also have distinct badges and should be listed in the attendance roster with an asterisk or in a special listing.
- When issues arise, such as who should represent a school at the conference, the Host Committee should refer the issue to the liaison who will refer the issue to the AUCCCD Membership Committee Chair for consultation.
- Only director members can be program presenters, with the exception of invited speakers for keynotes or other special sessions.
