Being on the AUCCCD Board is an excellent way to assist in leading the organization and to help the association continue on its path as the leaders for college student mental health. All expenses associated with Board work and responsibilities are covered by AUCCCD.  The Board also maintains a listserv, which varies from being active at times, to relatively quiet. 

For our association to continue to thrive, it is imperative that the Board is reflective of the entire membership. This means you are qualified to run! There is no minimum years of experience required to serve on the Board. The Board needs directors from all professional backgrounds, school sizes, identities, personal backgrounds, and characteristics. As can be seen within our own organization and institutions, the landscape of college mental health is changing fast.  This is a great opportunity for you to help the future of this profession and the association.  

As transition back to "normalcy," the association will help guide the continued implementation of unique college mental health services models, maintaining a focus on equity and social justice, and we would like for all voices to be represented on the Board. Members who want to contribute, learn, work and have some fun would make excellent Board members! I welcome the opportunity, as do all current Board members, to address any questions you have about serving on this dynamic Board.  Please reach out to any board member with questions you may have about being on the board.  We would all be happy to answer your questions.
